Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of VoiceTick's voice-to-ticket platform and related services. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

We expect all users to use VoiceTick responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use VoiceTick to record, transcribe, process, or transmit content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Contains hate speech, discriminatory language, or promotes violence
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Contains personally identifiable information (PII) of third parties without consent
  • Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law
  • Contains explicit sexual content or exploitation material
  • Promotes illegal activities or substances

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in the following activities:

  • Attempting to bypass or circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Using the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service
  • Using automated tools or bots to access the Service without authorization
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service's infrastructure
  • Sharing your account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Using the Service to compete with or replicate VoiceTick
  • Abusing the AI processing capabilities for non-task-related purposes
  • Creating tickets or tasks designed to harass or harm others

4. Integration Misuse

When using VoiceTick's integrations with third-party platforms (ClickUp, Jira, Notion, Slack, Microsoft Teams), you must:

  • Comply with the third-party platform's own terms of service
  • Only submit tickets to workspaces and projects you have authorization to access
  • Not use integrations to flood third-party platforms with excessive or spam content
  • Maintain appropriate access controls for shared workspaces

5. AI Usage Guidelines

VoiceTick's AI features (transcription and task structuring) should be used in accordance with these guidelines:

  • Review AI-generated content before submitting to third-party platforms
  • Do not attempt to manipulate AI outputs for malicious purposes
  • Report inaccurate or problematic AI outputs to help improve the Service
  • Do not use voice recording to capture confidential conversations without consent

6. Resource Usage

Each subscription plan includes specific usage limits. You must respect these limits and not attempt to circumvent them:

  • Free: 3 recording minutes per month, 1 ticketing + 1 chat integration
  • Pro: 22 recording minutes per month, 2 ticketing + 2 chat integrations
  • Business: 70 recording minutes per month, unlimited integrations

Excessive or abusive usage that impacts Service performance for other users may result in temporary throttling or account suspension.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately at abuse@voicetick.app. We will investigate all reported violations and take appropriate action.

8. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Warning notification
  • Temporary suspension of Service access
  • Permanent termination of your account
  • Removal of offending content
  • Reporting to law enforcement authorities where appropriate

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or by email. Your continued use of VoiceTick after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
